We hope this message finds you well.
We are writing to inform you of a significant decision regarding the Musicians' Union of Maldives. Following our 4th Annual General Meeting, we encountered several issues that prevented us from registering the newly elected Executive Committee (EXCO). As a result, the union has been non-functional for nearly two years.
After much deliberation, the founders have decided that it is time to formally dissolve the Musicians' Union of Maldives.
This decision was not made lightly. Our primary goal has always been to support and advance the interests of Maldivian musicians. However, given the current circumstances, we believe this is the most prudent course of action.
We have initiated the dissolution process and will keep our members informed of any necessary steps or actions that may require their attention.
We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all previous EXCO members for their dedication and hard work. Their contributions have been invaluable in striving towards our mission and supporting the Maldivian music community.
Thank you for your understanding and for your support throughout the years. We are grateful for the dedication and passion of our members and supporters, and we hope to continue supporting the Maldivian music community in new ways in the future.
